I was here in Kuala Kangsar twice in a gap of one week. No, no official duties here and no, I have no past memories here at all.. I was here accompanying Loloq to a film shoot which he'll be acting as a Rockstar who accidently save a bunch of kampung people from the Zombie incedent that happened in the village. Yup, you heard me right.. ZOMBIE..
Directed by Mamat Khalid, the film will be experimenting into the possibilities of dark comedy.. Yes, it's a comedy thriller..so, expect some laughs bursting out from you while having goosebumps.. 
What the Hell I'm doing there again? Oh.. I took the oportunity to shoot a few pictures and shot some videos for my TV channel.. nothing to do with them..
I got my own things..

We had our photo session last Tuesday. Actually, I forgot all about it and not prepared for the session. My schedules are packed out of the office for the whole week (including this coming week.) Well, it turns out OK. You think so..??

So, I took my mind off work last weekend. Something that I've not done for quite sometime. My parent came over to witness my brother's graduation on Sunday. Finally, he manage to get his Master in Finance. Later that I know, he did not only get that but also awarded as the best student for his course.

It's been long since I'm back in JB. Almost 3 months ago to be exact. At last, last weekend I manage to do so. Spend time with my parents, spend time at home and spend time with 2 wonderful ladies that seems to make JB a great place to be. (It has always been a great place to be.. mind you..)

The 80's Heavy Metal Era

Trust me.. the pictures was taken last week in Taiping at the set of a new movie by Mamat Khalid (Lat's brother), Produced by Grand Brillance..
It's a story about a group of boys competing in a heavy metal band competition. It is the era where heavy metal was the 'In-Thing' and almost everybody want's to be a rocker.
Long hair, tight jeans, eye-liner, hi-cut sneakers, Rock Band emblem, high-pitch wailing.. rock chicks.. rock chicks.. rock chicks..
Oh well, I remember Kasut Aliph and flourescent shoe string..
p.s.. Special appearance for the movie, making a tribute.. Man Kidal, Amy Search and Nasir Jani.. 3 major Icon in the 80's rock era..

She's was infected with the foot and mouth disease from the nursery where she goes everyday. Because of that, she was quarantined inside the house for a week as advised by doctor.
As we seen from many kids her age, the terrifying moment for them would be the time to take the medicine, which got Hanan all screaming and running all over the house to avoid taking the medicine.
Here's the trick, I showed her my camera phone and told her that we're taking pictures after that..
the result.. not that she runs away from the medicine.. she even take it on her own...

Here are the pictures as far as I have.
The acoustic show was at the Press Conference where they receive Double Platinum for sales reaching above 50,000 units.
The rest of the pictures were taken at Astro, while recording their 'Dari Studio 1' show.
Yes, maybe their music are not as good as any other band we've known before.. but witnessing their energetic live shows on stage, with all of them knowing exactly how to control the stage, proves that they have their own specialty..
